Meet the Student Leadership Team
Hello Moulsham!
We are incredibly proud to be your Head Students for the 2025–26 academic year. It’s a true honour to represent such a vibrant and diverse community, and we are committed to using this role to create meaningful, lasting change across the school.
We are very excited about our new Student Leadership Team, a group of passionate, dedicated students who are eager to make a real impact in their areas. Our structure includes key leadership strands such as:
- Equality
- Charity
- Mental Health
- Reading
- Peer Mentoring
- Student Council
- House
- Young Carers
- Ambassadors
Each of these teams plays a vital role in shaping student life at Moulsham. For example, our Equalities Team will continue their outstanding work promoting inclusivity and awareness through events like Culture Day, which celebrates the diversity of our school community.
Our Charities Team has already begun planning exciting fundraising events, including the return of our popular Thriftwood Fundraiser . This year, we hope to break previous records and make an even bigger impact.
As Head Students, our goals for this year are rooted in connection, support, and student voice. Specifically:
Bridging the gap between younger years and Sixth Form:
Through the Made for More Mentoring Scheme, we aim to foster stronger relationships between Year 7–11 and Sixth Form students, encouraging a more inclusive, united school culture.
Supporting transitions into GCSEs and A-Levels:
We understand how overwhelming these academic changes can be, so we want to offer more targeted mentoring, advice sessions, and resource sharing to make these transitions smoother and less stressful.
Creating a whole-school voice:
We will ensure that student opinions are heard, valued, and acted upon whether through the Student Council and year group feedback. Change starts with being listened to.
We strongly believe that these goals will not only improve academic experiences but also enrich the social and emotional wellbeing of all students.
We’re looking forward to working alongside the entire Student Leadership Team, staff, and pupils to make this year at Moulsham one of growth, achievement, and community spirit.
Let’s make it one to remember!
